The Marie Curie Actions research fellowship program is a set of mobility research grant schemes funding pre- and post-doctoral researchers in Europe as well as experienced researchers from all over the world. The Marie-Curie Fellowships are Europe’s most competitive and prestigious awards, and are aimed at fostering interdisciplinary research and international collaborations. == Description == Fellowships are awarded by the European Commission in various scientific disciplines within the ''People'' programme (FP7). Marie Curie Actions are grouped into: * Initial Training Networks (ITN), * Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways (IAPP), * Intra-European Fellowships (IEF), * International Incoming Fellowships (IIF), * International Outgoing Fellowships (IOF), * Career Integration Grants (CIG), * Co-funding of Regional, National and International Programmes (COFUND), * International Research Staff Exchange Scheme (IRSES) and * the Researchers' Night.
